A call was placed to Rochester Emergency Services at 2:08 p.m. that a First Student bus on its way to pick up Rochester Public Schools students at the end of the school day caught fire on Highway 52. The bus driver and the Education Support Professional were safely evacuated from the bus and the scene without injury. No students were on the bus at the time. The Rochester Fire Department extinguished the fire and confirmed no injuries. The cause of the fire will be under investigation.
