Launching into the 2026-2027 School Year
We're thrilled to welcome our crew back for the 2026-2027 school year! Whether your students are seasoned RPS students or are just joining the Rochester Public Schools crew for the very first time, we are officially clearing you for lift-off. To ensure a smooth year, we've gathered all the essential information to keep your family connected as you prepare for launch day.
Middle Schools Schedule Pick Ups/Open Houses
Dakota Middle School
Dakota schedule pick up: Thursday, August 13. 1-5 p.m.
John Adams Middle School
John Adams 6th grade schedule pick up: Wednesday, August 12, 2-6 p.m.
John Adams 7th & 8th grade schedule pick up: Thursday, August 13, 2-6 p.m.
Kellogg Middle School
Kellogg 6th-grade schedule pick up: Tuesday, August 18, 1- 4 p.m.
Kellogg 7th- and 8th-grade schedule pickup: Thursday, August 20, 1- 4 p.m.
Evening convenience option (for any grade): Thursday, August 20, 4-6 p.m.
Middle School ALC
MSALC Open House: August 18, 4–6 p.m.
Lincoln K-8 School
Lincoln Grade 6 Orientation: August 25, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
6th Graders will be invited in during the day for an intro to Middle School (Uppers)
Details will be emailed to parent as we approach the day
Students will learn how to use lockers, general procedures, read their schedule, find their classes, etc.
Please bring $10.00 for agenda purchase
