Multilingual Interpretation Services

To ensure all our families can fully share in this special celebration, real-time human interpretation will be available during the May 31 graduation ceremonies via headsets. Interpretation tables, where families can pick up and check out headsets, will be located beyond the security checkpoint for Century, Mayo, and John Marshall graduations and just outside the second-floor ballroom for the MNSync Online graduation. We anticipate offering languages such as Spanish, Arabic, Somali, and others. Language availability may vary, so please visit the table to confirm services for your specific graduation. Families can wear the headsets during the ceremony and listen as an interpreter speaks live through a microphone. We kindly ask that you return your headset after the festivities.

Your Safety is Our Priority

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our graduates and their guests, all attendees will pass through a security screening. This will include metal detectors and may involve a search of purses and possessions before entering the venue. Please note that, per Mayo Civic Center regulations, the following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind (e.g., firearms, knives, or pepper spray).

  • Large bags, backpacks, or luggage. Please only bring essential items in small bags or purses.

  • Balloons of any kind.

  • Outside food and beverages, including glass or metal containers of any sort, are not permitted. However, unsealed plastic water bottles are allowed.

  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, and any items intended for unauthorized resale.

  • Noise-making devices, including air horns, whistles, or musical instruments.

  • Drones or any other unmanned aerial vehicles.
