Frequently Asked Questions

Schedule for Students

CTECH courses are offered on a block schedule and meet for one semester. Students earn 1.0 credit per block course. The schedule includes time for travel between sites. It is important to note that CTECH does not change class schedules due to alternate schedules at one or more high schools (i.e. Homecoming, Pepfest, etc.). If a situation arises where your CTECH course conflicts with another course at your high school, we trust you to make a conscious decision about where you need to be. We ask that you communicate your decision with your CTECH and High School teachers in advance. We do run a special schedule on Tuesdays to accommodate the unique schedules used by our high schools.

We do not hold CTECH classes on the first day of the RPS school year, or on the district-wide ACT test administration date.
