February Rocket Boost! Sometimes the best way to BOOST your mood is to BOOST someone else's. This month students are writing notes to residents in local nursing homes. We love our JM students!

A HUGE shoutout to our students that are working hard to raise money to off-set costs of Prom. The money raised goes toward decorations and supporting students with financial barriers in attending.

Rochester Rotary is on-site today leading dozens of students thru ethics and peacebuilding in collaboration with NewGen Peacebuilders. Already students are sharing so many things they are learning about and ways their brains are being stretched.

Please consider supporting out Rocket Community Room. Thank you in advance!

Did you know: Minnesotans can now claim the Child Tax Credit, with no limit on the number of children claimed. You must file a 2023 individual income tax return in order to claim the credit. Most taxpayers who are eligible to claim the new Child Tax Credit are also eligible for free tax preparation assistance. Learn more about income requirements and qualifications on the Child Tax Credit webpage: https://www.revenue.state.mn.us/child-tax-credit
The tax credit of up to $1750 per child is estimated to cut child poverty by up to one-third in Minnesota. Nearly 300,000 households, including 513,000 children, are estimated to qualify for the credit.

And it just keeps getting better! Jason repurposed a sign for our coffee shop that was squirreled away somewhere.

When our track & field numbers doubled last year, so did the need to remove barriers for many students to safe and appropriate footwear....and the Rochester Running Club answered the call with the donation of hundreds of pairs of shoes to RPS students. This was their recent donation. HUGE thank you!

Wow! What an event ... Black History Month: A Taste of Africa put on by our Black Student Union.
