Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Monday update from the Main Office!
JM PRIDE the John Marshall LGBTQIA+ club will be meeting on Wednesday October 1st from 3:30-5:30 this week instead of on Thursdays like normal. We will still meet Friday morning at 8:20. We will be finalizing our plans for Fall Fest, discussing recent LGBTQIA+ events and going over our plans for National Coming Out Day which we will be celebrating on October 13th. Everyone is welcome!
Students, please remember that the deadline for registering for an honors OPTION in a designated class is Wednesday, October 1. See Mrs. Cobb or your teacher for more information.
FCCLA Members! Don't forget there is a meeting after school this Wednesday in room 2-203. We will be discussing Fall Festival, Homecoming Float and other items. Thank you!!
Hey Rockets, If you like dinosaurs, a chill time, and like cookies, come to dinosaur club! Its in Mr. Stanislaskis room 5-212 at 8am on Thursday October 2nd. Information can be found on instagram @jmdinoclub You don't have to know a lot about dinosaurs to come, it's open for all! See you there!

This Saturday from 4 to 7 PM, is the John Marshall Fall Festival. There will be free food, games and new this year a free raffle for JM students. Prizes include a Switch 2, a $250 Amazon gift card, a $200 Target gift card and many more. You must be present to win. Check out the Fall Festival posters around the building for more information. All proceeds go to support JM clubs, activities and sports. Hope to see you there!
On Wednesday a rep from University of Wisconsin Eau Claire will be here at 10am, and a rep from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point will be here at 12:45pm. Passes may be picked up in the counseling office or the main office.
Reps from the Navy and the Army will be in the cafeteria during lunches on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
Homecoming T-Shirts are for sale in the Main Office. $10 each cash only.

Juniors and Sophomores the deadline to register for the PSAT test is Wednesday October 1. This is an OPTIONAL and practice test for the SAT college admissions test. The PSAT also serves as a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship Competition for Juniors who take it. There are only 6 seats left, so register today. The fee is $20.
The deadline for guest forms for the homecoming dance is today. The digital date form will close today after school. All paper date forms must be returned to the Main Office by Wednesday, October 1. Remember you can’t buy tickets for you or your guest until the form has been returned. Tickets go on sale next week during all 3 lunches.
