Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Friday update from the Main Office!
Minnesota State University Mankato will be at John Marshall this coming Monday, September 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. in the CCRC room 3-105. Students may stop in the Counseling Office or the Main Office for a pass.
Permission slips for the U of M tour are due today. Don’t forget to hand it into Mr. Sharp before the end of the day.
Hey Rockets! FCA is hosting see you at the pole this Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:50 am. We will be meeting by the flagpole and having a time of fellowship and prayer. We cannot wait to see you there, all students and staff are welcome to join!
Rockets, Homecoming is right around the corner. Make sure to register your guest on the digital date form if they attend another RPS high school. Look for the QR code around the building or in the Main Office. Pick up a paper date form in the Main Office if your guest attends a school outside of RPS. The last day to register your guest is September 29th. Dance tickets will be sold October 6-9 during all 3 lunches. Remember you cannot purchase a ticket for you and your guest until the date form has been submitted.
If you are looking for something to do tonight, our JM Rocket Football team takes on the Panthers at Century High School starting at 6:00 PM. Students must purchase a ticket on the GoFan app. Student passes are not valid at away games.

Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Thursday update from the Main Office!
JM PRIDE will have their first meeting today after school in room 3-211. We will be making some posters, getting to know each other and making plans for National Coming Out Day. Everyone is welcome.
Rockets, If you need help with your homework or extra help in a class, after school homework help is available in the library after school Monday through Thursday 3:35 to 5:30.

Advanced Placement students who qualify for Free/Reduced lunch: you need to complete the required paperwork to receive the discounted price for Advanced Placement Exams. See Teresa in the Counseling Office for the necessary paperwork today. You must complete and turn in the paperwork by October 17.

Rockets, the homecoming dance is right around the corner. It will be on Saturday, October 11th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM in the John Marshall gym. JM Students in grades 9 through 12 can attend. Students can bring one guest who is a high school student. We are introducing a new digital homecoming guest form for students bringing a guest from another Rochester Public School. Look for the QR code in the Main Office or posted around the building to register your guest. If you are planning to bring a student from outside of RPS, please pick up a paper date form in the Main Office. Dance tickets for you and your guest cannot be purchased until the guest is registered or a completed date form has been turned in. You do not need to fill out the guest form if your guest is a John Marshall student. The deadline to submit the form is Monday, September 29th.
