Introduction to Health Science Careers

Students explore the multiple career pathways in health care.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Upon completion of this course, students are eligible to take the Certification Exam for Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aid.

Emergency Medical Technician

Classroom and online learning mixed with hands-on skills testing in preparation for the EMT certification exam.

Medical Lab Science

Upon completion of this course, students are employable in entry level lab assistant positions. This course provides excellent background for students entering post-secondary programs for nursing or physician.

Science BIOL

This one-semester course provides a comprehensive overview of introductory human anatomy and physiology of the major body systems

Pharmacy Technician

Students are eligible to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board examination upon completion of this course.

Therapeutic Medicine

Students explore careers that assist patients in prevention, control, and treatment of injuries, diseases, and disorders. Students will explore a variety of health care career fields.
