  • First Day of Kindergarten: September 1st

Meet the Teacher and Schedule Pick-up

We want to make sure the transition back into the school year is seamless. Come to Meet the Teacher night or your student's schedule pick-up to help ease them back into the classroom.

Step into Learning

Step Into Learning is an altered start to the traditional start of the school year. Some of our elementary schools, Bishop, Folwell, Franklin, Montessori at Franklin, Gibbs, Sunset Terrace, and Washington, will use the first two days of school, September 3rd and 4th, as student conference days.

Parents and guardians will make an individual 30-minute appointment in August (be watching for communication from your individual school soon). During this appointment, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to meet their child’s teacher(s), have their child assessed, visit with the school nurse, set up their lunch accounts, explore the school’s PTSA and more. Schools participating in Step Into Learning will not have SACC available on September 3rd and 4th. The first full day of school for students grades K-5 will be September 5th
