Referendum Updates
On May 19, the Rochester Public School Board received an informational update and an update on the schematic design of the new elementary school which will be built in northwest Rochester on a property known as Schmidt Park.
School Board Approves Termination of SW Land Agreement, Approves Purchase of NW Land Agreement
Over the past year, Rochester Public Schools (RPS) has been working with the city administration regarding the location of the new middle school, which was one of several projects that the RPS residents voted for on the November 5, 2019 bond referendum.

The District will have many exciting projects occurring throughout the next three years as a result of the referendum passing on November 5.

"There are 260 high school students, if you take 12th graders and siblings, that will be impacted by the boundary changes," Superintendent Michael Muñoz said.
Changes are coming to the attendance boundaries involving Rochester Public Schools.
Friday will be the final day of classes at Rochester Harriet Bishop Elementary School - the final day of the current school year and the final day period.
